Gentleman Dubbed In Hindi: A South Indian Movie with a Twist

The score and soundtrack were composed by A. R. Rahman.[17] Vairamuthu wrote the lyrics for all songs except "Chikku Bukku Rayile" and "Parkathey", which were written by Vaali.[11] The songs were recorded at Panchathan Record Inn, and the soundtrack was released under the Pyramid label.[18] The film and soundtrack were dubbed and released in Telugu with the same name. The lyrics were penned by Rajasri for this version.[19] The original Tamil soundtrack sold over 300,000 cassettes.[20]

Gentleman was released on 30 July 1993.[32] Kunjumon had to distribute the film on his own since no distributors were willing to buy this film as they felt "it looked like a dubbed film". Despite this, it became a major commercial success,[11] running for over 175 days in theatres.[33]

Gentleman Dubbed In Hindi

R. David Nathan was credited with providing the story and scenario, while Indraganti penned the screenplay and the dialogue besides co-writing the script. P. G. Vinda was the film's director of photography. Mani Sharma composed the film's soundtrack and score. Marthand K. Venkatesh edited the film.[9] As the protagonist is suspected to be a villain but actually is a gentleman, Indraganti wanted to name the film by choosing the Telugu equivalent of the word gentleman. After considering titles such as Uttamudu and Manchivadu, he chose Gentleman,[7] with the tagline "Hero? Villain?".[8] The title was formally announced on 15 April 2016,[10] on the eve of Sri Rama Navami.[11] 2ff7e9595c
